Details
A late 19th century Victorian lacquered scorched bamboo side table featuring a warm patina and classic Old World charm. The rectangular top showcases hand-painted lacquer panels in red, amber, and black with delicate floral and bird motifs, while the lower shelf is decorated with a gilt embossed floral design.
Recently restored, the piece still retains areas of wear and imperfections consistent with age and use, including surface losses to the lacquer panels and a natural crack in the bamboo.
Elegant and full of character, this table makes a distinctive accent in both traditional and eclectic interiors.
